Embarking on a new adventure can be a bit frightening, especially for first timers. However, once you get up the courage to just say “yes”, you’ll soon find that it was the best decision you’ve ever made. Don’t let nerves stop you from getting out there and exploring the world, and if you still feel unsure, then book a tour to help you gradually ease into your adventure travel:

1.) Because you don’t want to miss out:

Even if something might not sound like a good idea at the time, it’s better to just say yes and go rather than missing out on what could have potentially been a life-changing experience. If you’re doing group travel, you also don’t want to be the only one with nothing to talk about at the end of an awesome day that you chose to skip out on.

2.) Because we always regret the things we don’t do:

More so in the world of travelers, we learn quickly that we regret the things we don’t do much more than the things we do do. Any person who has ever traveled extensively will tell you more often than not than they regret not getting on a bus and exploring that city they heard about, when at the time they were worried about losing money over a hostel they’ve already booked. It’s all or nothing, and it will all be worth it.

3.) Because there’s not always a second chance:

Going along with the whole ‘regret’ thing, when you tell yourself (or someone tells you), that you might never be in this part of China again, it’s probably true. While you can always get yourself back to China, you’re here now, so you might as well take on the adventure while you can. If you go on a tour, it’s a great way to ensure you get to see everything you want the first time around.

4.) Because life is too short:

‘YOLO’ was never more true than it is right now. Always saying “yes” to an adventure means you’re one step closer to living your life to the absolute fullest. Book a tour, where everyday is a new experience that you may not have been able to plan yourself without the help. Life is too short to not say “yes” so just go for it!

5.) Because it’s safe:

Though life is short, it’d be great if you could keep on living as long as possible without having to worry about a fatal mishap happening. While your safety can’t be always guaranteed, going on a tour certainly helps to reduce risks that come with traveling in countries that may not be considered ‘safe’. If safety is a concern for you, then go with a tour.

6.) Because why not?

What’s the reason to not say “yes”? Trying a new, delicious food? Going ziplining across a Southeast Asian jungle? A group travel experience that will introduce to lifelong friends? Why not? Everytime you say “yes” to an adventure, it’s an opportunity to for personal growth, to see the world, and to have memories you’ll never forget.

Book a tour with an adventure travel company that won’t even give you the option to say “no”. You’ll be glad you did!
