Every country in the world hosts at least one festival or party that intrigues travelers from all over the world. Though we’d love to go to all of them, we have to prioritize the best ones for our busy lives. Head to Europe, the Americas, and even the Middle East to enjoy one of these awesome parties:

1.) Ultra Miami

Every year in March, those looking for an awesome time head to the party city of Miami for one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world. The weather here is great, and people can enjoy the beaches, the concerts, and the booze, all in one. Ultra has been held in other cities around the world as well, but Miami is where it all started.

2.) La Tomatina, Spain

If you’re into festivals, then you’ve definitely heard about La Tomatina. As part of the festivals of Bunol, a town in Valencia, Spain, people come from all over to throw tomatoes at each other. Come here on the last Wednesday of August; the only day of the year where it’s okay to indulge in the biggest food fight ever.

3.) Carnival, Brazil

Carnival is one of the most recognizable parties in the world. Every year on the Friday before Ash Wednesday, people head to the big cities of Brazil for a party they’ll never forget. From brilliant costumes and exciting parades, to samba dances and bars on every corner of the streets, the fun here never ends.

4.) The Yacht Week

Don’t own a yacht? No worries. Yacht Week is a chance for everyone to enjoy the luxury of sailing on one of these massive paradises. Get your gang together, book a yacht in a destination of your choice, and get ready for one of the most unforgettable (or forgettable) weeks of your life.

5.) Laila Lavan, Israel

Meaning ‘White Night’ in Hebrew, Laila Lavan is a night in Tel Aviv, Israel where the city really doesn’t sleep. The event is a way to celebrate the city’s culture, and people can enjoy it by partying on the beach, going to silent headphone parties in the plazas, attending concerts, trying amazing food, going on tours of the city, appreciating the art of Tel Aviv, and all around just having a great time.

6.) Mardi Gras, New Orleans

If you can’t make it to Brazil for Carnival, then come to New Orleans on Fat Tuesday to enjoy Mardi Gras, one of the craziest confession days in all of Christianity. Before Lent begins, Mardi Gras is a chance for party-goers to get it all ‘out of their system’ as a means of a true confession. However, people tend to come just to have fun, no matter their motive.

7.) Queen’s Day, Amsterdam

Queen’s Day in Amsterdam is certainly not a celebration that takes place over some tea and biscuits. Always at the end of April on the Queen’s birthday, is a huge excuse for Dutch and foreigners alike to hit the streets of Amsterdam in orange attire and party like there’s no tomorrow. There’s beer taps at every corner, food, music, and tons of ways to have a good time.

8.) Oktoberfest, Germany

While many travelers come to Munich every October for the amazing German beer, many forget that this festival is actually a folk festival, celebrating much more of Germany’s culture than just the brews. People dress up in traditional costumes, take part in Bavarian cultural rituals, and just get really, really drunk. What’s not fun about that?

What are you waiting for? Let’s party!
