We love Florence

Florence

Italians know a thing or two about shopping! From expensive designer brands such as D&G, Gucci and Prada to vintage bargains and chic flea markets – Florence has got it all! When wandering the charming streets, one really feels the presence of history – something that only adds a unique dimension to the shopping experience. Your starting point should be the central Santa Maria Novella Square, from where all shops,, cafés and restaurants can be reached by foot.

Beautiful day in Vienna

Vienna

When Vienna is on my list, it is due to the variety of chic shops and mouth-watering gourmet experiences. While shops in Vienna usually close quite early compared to other European cities, the city has an exceptional vibe and historical charm that allures you already upon arrival. At the old Naschmarkt in the city center, there are more than 120 food vendors offering local delicacies – something truly unique during Christmas, when the entire city is lit up! Vienna equals expensive shopping and unbeatable quality – and it is a foodie’s Paradise!

Light up the night in London

London

Of course this grand old lady made it to my list as well – cause no European shopping spree without a visit to London!
The city is a true mecca for all shoppers and the possibilities here are litterally endless. From the cute Farmer’s Market in trendy Notting Hill to the colorful markets at Camden and countless high street shops; a weekend here is usually never enough. Oh, and do remember to visit the beautiful old department stores too; Harrod’s and Fortnum & Mason are my personal favorites.

Hanging out in Hamburg

Hamburg

In recent years, Hamburg has really proven its worth when it comes to shopping. This North German city bursts of life quality and luxurious shops along the Alter (two lakes in Hamburg). While the harbour district has become increasingly popular with its urban environment and ’cool kid’ atmosphere, I still prefer the central streets of Jungfernstieg and Gänsemarkt, that offers an impressive selection of flagship stores, luxury boutiques and famous shopping malls such as Hanse-Viertel and Galleria.

Fall in love with Paris

Paris

The city of love is still home to some of the most amazing shopping in the world. If you prefer strolling around in a mall, the famous Galeries Lafayette is a must-visit! Here you will find an impressive food department and several chic shops. Head to the area of Montmartre if you are looking for that funky Paris vibe, but avoid the area around Sacre Coeur, which is too touristic. My own favorite part of Paris is Saint-German-des-Prés; a haven of chic classic design and charming cafés. Have a post-shopping glass of wine or a cup of coffee while just enjoying the buzzing neighbourhoods. Now, that is life!
