First stop, Brussels! Actually, anywhere in Belgium you can find their famous frites and waffles. Frites are french fries that come in a giant cone and come with dipping sauces of your choice. These babies are salty and scrumptious, and your mouth will be watering while you wait in line for them.

Gelato in Italy and Spain
Mmm…gelato. A snack that is sometimes compared to ice cream, though that will never do it justice. Gelato is made with a combination of cream, milk, sugar, and different flavorings. It’s smooth and cold, but not cold enough to give you brain freeze. You can get it in a little cup that comes with an equally little spoon. It can be tasted in Spain, Italy, and a few other countries around Europe. What we’re really trying to say is, if you see it every stop on your European tour, eat it no matter how full you are. It’s that amazing.
Currywurst in Germany
The way “currywurst” rolls of the tongue is almost as good as it tastes in your mouth. This German treat is a spin on traditional bratwurst that tastes ohhh so good. Currywurst, like others on this list, is a snack you can find on any popular street. It’s sausage that’s doused in ketchup and curry powder and it typically comes with a side of fries or on bread. YUM. (Hint: Bratwurst-type snacks can be found in Austria, too.)
Cheese in Switzerland
Cheese is a part of life in Switzerland, and if you happen to be passing through, then it’s necessary you try it. Of course, we expect that you would want to want to visit Switzerland solely for this reason, too. There are so many opportunities to devour cheese as you tour around beautiful country. Whether you prefer it arranged on a platter with different breads or melted together in a delectable fondue, don’t miss your chance to try this incredible snack.
Gourmet Hot Dogs in Denmark
Yes, hot dogs, or at least versions of hot dogs, are easy to find almost anywhere in the world. But, the hot dogs in Denmark are on point. These gourmet hot dogs are just known as classical hot dogs here, but that’s clearly an understatement. Hot dog stands are found all over Copenhagen, but unlike New York hot dogs, they come with much more than the condiments you’re used to. Get your hot dog either grilled or boiled, sandwiched between the bread of your choice, with some famous Danish remoulade thrown on top.
