Going to Cuba is like traveling back in time, as all the cars are from the 60’s and perhaps the fashion is, too. Havana, like Cartagena, gives you a mix of city life and beach paradise. Yangon, Myanmar
If you’re looking for a destination that’s off the beaten path, then come to Myanmar. While this destination is getting more attention than it has in the past, it’s still extremely under the radar. Myanmar, previously called Burma, is an absolutely stunning country in Southeast Asia, and really the region’s best kept secret. From amazing Buddhist temples and pagodas to stunning skylines and friendly people, come visit Yangon in 2017.
Vancouver, Canada
This year is the year to visit Canada, as it’s the country’s 150th birthday. To celebrate the special occasion, all of the country’s national parks are free. And, as we all know, many of this country’s best parks are in none other than British Columbia. Explore the glacial lakes and green mountainsides, and when you’ve gotten enough of the nature, partake in the festivities and check out the city life. You’ll never get bored with all Vancouver has to offer her visitors.
New Orleans, United States
If you haven’t been to New Orleans yet, then what are you waiting for?! This is the city you most definitely want to visit in 2017. Sofia, Bulgaria
Eastern Europe hardly gets as much attention as it should. Only the most adventurous travelers know how much beauty this part of the world really has. For history buffs, there’s a lot to get to know here, as this city has been under occupation many times by the Greeks, the Ottomans, and others in between. Zanzibar, Tanzania
The entire continent of Africa is always a cool place to travel, but in 2017, look no further than Zanzibar, Tanzania. This archipelago off the coast of East Africa is the beach paradise you’ve been dreaming of. In addition to amazing seaside resorts, this island also has a lot of history. This is one of the main stopping points of the spice trade, and there’s literally a place called the Hakuna Matata Spice Farm! This destination is pure gold!
